Visual Evoked Potential (VEP)
It is a test that measures the brain's response to visual stimuli (such as a changing pattern or flashing light). Electrodes are placed on the scalp to record the electrical activity resulting from eye stimulation.

Evaluating optic nerve function:
It helps detect damage or impairment to the optic nerve (such as optic neuritis or pressure).
Diagnosing retinal or central nervous system diseases:
It is used to detect the effects of diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS), brain tumors, or strokes on vision.
Diagnosing unexplained vision problems:
It is useful when there is a complaint of visual impairment without an apparent cause during a conventional eye exam.
Monitoring disease progression:
It helps doctors assess a patient's response to treatment and monitor disease progression.
Screening vision in children or uncooperative patients:
